Orientation Sensors

Our OEM sensor solutions are small, rugged, and lightweight sensors. The boards are 3 axes, dynamic, and provide actual orientation in 3D space at 72 times/second. Unique, user settable addresses allow multiple sensors to be daisy chained together. A USB to RS485 adapter provides power and communication, and both raw sensor and orientation data are easily accessible.

V9.1G Extremely small (.5" x 1.875" x .16") 8 degree of freedom orientation board that provides true orientation, in world coordinates. Communication over RS485. Wide range of Vin, 2 to 18V. Also, raw output of 3 axis magnetometer, 3 axis accelerometer and 2 axis (pitch and yaw) gyro available.

OS4-M Rugged Orientation Sensor Module, fully potted inside a waterproof housing rated to 900ft of seawater. 4 pin waterproof connectors on each end. Multiple sensors can be connected in series. RS485 - USB receiver/transmitter available. Custom cable lengths available.

Energy Harvesting Boards

EH-DC-1 Energy Harvesting Board with regulated or un-regulated output voltage. Capable of harvesting from extremely low voltage DC sources such as thermal electric modules. Has onboard capacitance able to store enough energy to power many wireless sensors or, with the addition of external ultra-capacitors high power devices can be powered. Output voltage is not enabled until storage capacitor voltage exceeds programmed turn-on voltage to prevent output voltage from pinning to input voltage at low input power levels.
EH-DC-2 Energy Harvesting Board with regulated or un-regulated output voltage. Capable of harvesting from low voltage DC sources such as thermal electric modules or solar cells. Has onboard capacitance able to store enough energy to power many wireless sensors or, with the addition of external ultra-capacitors high power devices can be powered. Output voltage is not enabled until storage capacitor voltage exceeds programmed turn-on voltage to prevent output voltage from pinning to input voltage at low input power levels.
EH-AC-1 Energy Harvesting Board with regulated or un-regulated output voltage. Capable of harvesting from AC sources such as piezoelectric benders. Has onboard capacitance able to store enough energy to power many wireless sensors or, with the addition of external ultra-capacitors high power devices can be powered. Output voltage is not enabled until storage capacitor voltage exceeds programmed turn-on voltage to prevent output voltage from pinning to input voltage at low input power levels.
TH-1 Small, 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 thermal harvesting module utilizing EH-DC-1 module. Regulated or un-regulated output voltage available. Will harvest energy and power wireless sensors from 20 degree Fahrenheit temperature differential. Time to charge depends on temperature differential.
