The KCF Technologies machine health solution enabled this automotive plant to remotely monitor the hard-to-reach areas of a conveyor system.  By leveraging data provided by continuous monitoring, KCF’s team of Sentry Engineers identified the root cause of the problem within the conveyor’s motor and recommended a realignment of the motor gearbox. After realignment, the conveyor returned to healthy vibration levels, preventing 1 hour of downtime and saving the plant about $1 million in downtime costs.
