KCF Takes Successful Annual Predictive Maintenance Summit on the RoadKCF Technologies enjoyed hosting its first ever invitation only PdM Summit outside of downtown State College, PA.
September 26, 2016
KCF’s exclusive, invitation only Predictive Maintenance Summit was hosted at the beautiful University of Michigan’s Mattei Botanical Gardens. The Summit gave our most forward thinking customers and business partners, solid ammunition on how to shift from a reactive to a predictive maintenance strategy. Industry leaders in Auto Manufacturing, Paper & Pulp, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Chemical, and other areas are currently and creatively implementing successful, cutting edge Predictive Maintenance Strategies.
Some of these strategies were mentioned by Dow Corning's Dan Warren as he showed how he's using wireless vibration tools to determine not only what machines are failing, but why they're failing in the first place. Third-party Service Provider Wayne Van Hartesvelt showed what happens to critical equipment, including exhaust fans covered in paint, when periodic spot checks are relied on to monitor equipment health. General Motors' Dave Reiber challenged attendees to care for their machines as a doctor cares for his patients. What insightful presentations!
Our KCF Tech team was grateful for such professionalism to be in attendance and humbled by the opportunity to work with such great companies.
